I’m a second-generation artist who grew up surrounded by creativity and an enduring fascination with light. My father is a painter, so art was always part of my world. I bought my first camera when I was 17 and started with film, but quickly realized it would be an expensive hobby if I didn’t truly master it. Life took me in other directions, and for a while, I set photography aside.
When I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2008 for two years, I picked up the camera again — this time with purpose. As an engineer, I’ve always been drawn to design, and photography gave me something in addition: emotion, patience, and the quiet thrill of chasing light. Since 2013, I’ve devoted myself fully to it. I rise before dawn and linger past dusk, chasing the moments when the sky breathes color and the world holds its breath.
In those fleeting instants, I try to seize the image — to capture the pulse of a single day and hold it still for eternity. Each photograph becomes both memory and meditation, a tribute to the landscapes that shape us and the timeless rhythm of light that connects every horizon.
